A book that delivers on its promise
This book really delivers on the promise of its subtitle. I found it both inspiring and practical, and that’s a combination hard to achieve.
Simply Enough: Create space for what matters is a fresh and important contribution to today’s popular conversations about simple living and decluttering. Instead of easy fixes, however, the author laces her clear prose with the emotional power of her lovely poetry to help readers map out a path towards spaciousness in their lives—spaciousness that makes room for creativity to flourish.
Reading the book was, for me, a unique journey in which it felt as though the author took me by the hand and gently guided me through an assessment and evaluation of layers in my life: physical, spiritual, and emotional layers. Through her sharing of her own journey towards simple abundance—along with stories from her work with clients—she instills a courageous peacefulness about confronting hidden feelings of insufficiency, fear, loss, and guilt and then imparts grace and clarity to help us let go of what no longer serves or what pulls us away from what really matters to us.
The book’s poetic language and spiritual focus are paired beautifully with practical steps and exercises in each section to move the reader along their own path. It’s a perfect balance of heart and head.

The curse of busyness has plagued me for much of my adult life, so I am often drawn to books that promise to help me simplify, streamline, or otherwise de-stress my life. I’ve read some wonderful ones, but with this book, I was so inspired to make substantive changes in my life, I followed up by enrolling in the author’s 8-week mentoring FlowCircle.
In a small online group, guided by the author and her weekly assignments, questions, and journaling prompts, we read and discussed Simply Enough: Create space for what matters in sections and met weekly to share insights and take-aways. During my 8-week session, most of the participants were more versed in the language of energy healing work than I was, but after my initial feelings of discomfort about this, our shared goals in reading the book and supporting each other overcame any differences we might have had
Working through the Simply Enough book with other committed participants amplified a transformation in all the spaces of my life: physical, emotional, and spiritual. I highly commend this experience as an effective way to focus on this timely and important topic. And if—like it was for me—your first thought is ‘” don’t have time for this,” that is a clear sign that you need it now more than ever.
