It’s never been more important to choose love
The world today seems more polarized, fragmented, and dangerous than it has in a long time. We are afraid of the “Other” who doesn’t look like us or act like us or think like us. We forget our common humanity and focus on the ways we’re different.
Even among our own family members, we often have a hard time communicating. My personality is different from yours. What I perceive as loving may leave you cold.
Choosing love can be risky. It can backfire. It can be misunderstood.
But when you get to the end of your life and look back, you may have some regrets. Choosing love won’t be among them.
Always choose love.
