Other than buying my books, the best way you can support me—or any authors you like—is to leave a great book review (5-star if possible!). This signals to Amazon that the book is worth their attention and helps get it in front of more potential readers. If you’ve ever shopped on Amazon, you’ve probably gotten a message saying, “You might also like…” This is where I hope my book will appear more often!
Unfortunately, it’s not always easy to figure out how to leave a review, so I hope these instructions will make it easier:
How to leave a review for my book
To review my book, go to its page on Amazon, then scroll way down (really…wayyyyyyydown) just past “Customer Reviews” and then you’ll see “Review This Product.” Under that is a button that says “Write a customer review.” Here’s what that section of the page looks like:
Click that button and you’ll be taken to a review page where you select the number of stars (5, please!), a title, and a review. It doesn’t have to be long. In fact, you can give it a star rating without a review, but you’ll help other readers if you share a few sentences about why they might want to read the book too.
You don’t have to have purchased the book from Amazon to leave a review.
Thank you for taking a few minutes to do this! And please share this tip with all your reader friends so they can support their own favorite authors.
