The Blueprint Tracking Workbook
This spreadsheet has three tabs, one for each of the three parts of the tracking system: 1) Relationship Record, 2) Notice Log, and 3) Correspondence Record. Or find separate options for #2 and #3 below.
The Notice Log
Meaningful notes begin with noticing. This is the spreadsheet you can use to capture the moments worth acknowledging as you spot them—a promotion on LinkedIn, a milestone in the church bulletin, a name in the local paper. Keep it open as you go, and it becomes both your prompt to write and the record of a habit taking hold.

Click below to download the Notice Log (Excel spreadsheet, .xlsx). It also opens in Google Sheets and Apple Numbers.
The Correspondence Record
My own correspondence record is a plain journal-style, Leuchtturm 1917 book. It comes in a wide range of colors with dotted or lined pages. But I’ve also created a template page below. You can print the template and put it in a binder or notebook or use it as an example to design your own correspondence log pages as I have done in my journal (shown below).
Here’s the list of short codes I use for my own Correspondence Record, but creating your own makes it easier to remember:
