Holiday Card & Note Writing Challenge: wreath with pen, paper, enveloper
November 8, 2021 by Elizabeth H. Cottrell

Heartspoken’s Free 5-day Holiday Card & Note Writing Challenge

Register now: the Challenge begins Monday Nov. 15, 2021

One of my goals in writing my upcoming book about personal note writing was to inspire confidence and enthusiasm for connecting more meaningfully with others through old-fashioned notes and letters delivered by mail.

The weeks between mid-November and mid-January are broadly considered the “Holiday Season,” and regardless of your faith or cultural tradition (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanzaa, Winter Solstice, New Year’s) it is often the time when you buy holiday greeting cards and send them to family and friends. But here’s the rub — we almost always start out with good intentions, but by mid-December, we’re so caught up in the frenzy of holiday activities, we either stop sending cards completely or we resort to writing only our names and no message at all. And worse, the writing of these cards becomes a chore or obligation instead of a joyful part of our festivities.

pThat’s not the way it should be!

I’ve created the Heartspoken Holiday Card & Note Writing Challenge to make sure your holidays are as wonderful and stress-free as possible — and to greatly enhance the warmth of the sentiments you send. The Challenge is FREE and it will be fun and easy. Click the link below for details about how it works and all the goodies you’ll get:

CLICK HERE to learn more about the Challenge and sign up (or use the sign-up form at the bottom of this post).

If you do nothing more than download and follow the pre-challenge checklist that you’ll receive when you sign up, you’ll be way ahead of where you were last year, but you’ll also get other tips, tricks, and templates as well as a link to my Holiday Challenge Resource page where you can find paper, pens, accessories and much more.

The five daily emails of the Challenge will be sent out between Nov. 15 and 19, but you can actually do the activities on your own time and at your own pace. Whether you decide to spread your card and note writing throughout the year or just start in mid-November to finish before things get too hectic, you’ll get some great checklists and tips, and you’ll also get the chapter in my book called “Holiday Notes: A Few Pointers.”

AND there are prizes

If you sign up and click your confirmation email before the end of the Challenge—by midnight, Friday, November 19—you’ll be entered to win one of three $20 Amazon gift certificates.

Treat yourself to this fun challenge and make space for the things that matter during the holidays.
