If you can’t get to one of my book-signing events, you can always order online (CLICK HERE for options, including Amazon (Hardcover, paperback, Kindle) and my Heartspoken Bookshop (Hardcover and paperback) and then let me know via this website’s contact page if you want me to send you a signed bookplate to peel off the backing and stick in your book. 

Signed books available in Woodstock and New Market, VA!

Joy Nault, owner of Travelers Treasures (118 N. Main St., Woodstock, VA), has started carrying books by local authors. Mine (both hardbound and softbound) are all signed. Cristi Coryell at The Buttercup in New Market (9431 S. Congress St) is also carrying signed copies of both. These delightful shops are also chock full of wonderful gifts for everyone on your list!  

Upcoming events

I would love to see you at any of the public events below — either to purchase a signed copy of HEARTSPOKEN: How to Write Notes that Connect, Comfort, Encourage, and Inspire or to bring a book you’ve already purchased for me to sign. It would make a great gift for a graduate, newlywed, Mother’s Day or Father’s Day—or any occasion for the avid note and letter writer. • Sunday, April 7, 2024, 2-4pm, E. A. Coe’s Book Launch for his new novel Survive the Day The Winery at Kindred Pointe, 3575 Conicville Road, Mount Jackson, VA . Several local authors will have their books available too. 
• Thursday, April 11, 2024, Woodstock Library, 134 North Church Street, Woodstock, VA. Presentation at 7pm followed by questions, conversation, and book signing. 
• Fredricksburg Independent Book Festival, Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024, 10am to 4pm, Riverfron Park… with several other local authors.
• Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 1-4pm — The Little Yellow Farmhouse, 126 North High Street, Edinburg, VA 22824. The owner, Joan Reistetter, has been so gracious about hosting a small group of local authors, including me, Cara Achterberg, Jim Davison, Mark Muse, and Coe Sherrard. Refreshments. 
• Saturday and Sunday, September 17 and 18, 2022 at the Ole Time Festival in Edinburg, VA. Local authors will be manning a table at the Author’s Tent on the Old Mill Lawn during the following hours:
  • Saturday 9/17/22 from 10-1 and 2-5
  • Sunday 9//18/22 from 12-3
• Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Travelers Treasurers (118 N. Main Street, Woodstock, VA) from 6:30-8pm. Owner Joy Nault is opening a new space that features the books of local authors. 
• Saturday, October 8, 2022, from 1-3pm at the Winchester Book Gallery in Winchester, VA on the Loudoun Street Walking Mall (7 N. Loudoun Street).
• Sunday, October 9, 2022 at 2pm at the New Market Area Library (160 E Lee St, New Market, VA) – presentation and signing
• Saturday, November 5, 2022, 3-5pm at Books on the Bosque, Albuquerque, New Mexico. 
• Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022, at the Shenandoah Uncorked  event at The American Celebration on Parade (397 Caverns Road, Quicksburg, VA). Look for the Shenandoah Writes group table. 
• Friday, Nov. 18, 2022 8:30am to 3pm: Shenandoah County Chamber of Commerce’s 2022 Women’s Leadership Symposium at the Shenandoah Center at Bryce Resort. I will be the keynote speaker (“We were made for this!”) and have my books at a table for purchase and signing.
• Wednesday, Nov. 30, Laurel Ridge Community College Holiday Book Fair, Corron Community Development Center, 173 Skirmisher Lane, Middletown VA. Meet local authors and purchase books for the holidays.
• Saturday, December 3, at A New Chapter Bookstore, 922 Washington Street West, Lewisburg, WV 24901
• Tuesday, December 6 from 5:30-7:00 with other local authors: Shenandoah County Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours at Shenandoah Caverns (261 Caverns Rd, Quicksburg, VA).
• Wednesday, Dec. 7 through Sunday, December 11 – VECCA’s Mistletoe Market at 7East Gallery (123 S. Main Street, Woodstock, VA). Gallery hours: Wed-Fri, 5-7 pm / Sat 10am-4pm / Sun 12-3pm.
• Monday, January 9 – private presentation to the entire sales team at Johnston & Rhodes Real Estate in Woodstock. 
• Tuesday, January 17, 2023 – private presentation to the sales team at Sager Real Estate in Strasburg, VA.
• Saturday, January 28, 2023 9am to noon — Public Workshop at Wakeman’s Grove Church of the Brethren, 668 Wakesmans Grove Rd., Edinburg, VA. Open to public but RSVP required: (540)984-8383.
• Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at noon: presentation and signing for the Woodstock Rotary Club (members and guests only) THIS EVENT WAS RESCHEDULED WHEN I GOT SICK.
• Tuesday, February 21, 8am: presentation and signing for the Mt. Jackson- Edinburg Rotary Club (members and guests only)
• Saturday, March 4, 1-4pm at BOOK FAIR at St. Paul’s Heritage Center, 106 S. High St., Edinburg, VA.  I’ll be there with several other local authors. This is also a fundraiser for the Heritage Center, and we’ll not only be signing books but also answering questions and providing handouts for writers and aspiring authors.
